What is the current position for the business?
We are currently still trading, albeit with a greatly reduced workforce for isolation purposes.
Rest assured, we are taking all measures to ensure the safety of our two working staff. Each is working in complete isolation.
We have one additional staff member working from home.
The remaining staff have been furloughed to allow self-isolation at home, as per Government advice and support.
Will existing orders and new orders be fulfilled?
Yes they will, unless circumstances change beyond our complete control.
We are monitoring our workload closely, to ensure delivery dates are met despite our greatly reduced workforce.
We are still aiming for our near 100% delivery date achievement to continue, however If we should be slightly behind by a day or two, we hope you will understand the circumstances involved.
How will new enquiries be handled?
Our office is now staffed by one person, with some additional cover coming from home working at various times during the week.
We will almost certainly be slightly slower in dealing with enquiries and there is a greater chance of a phone call going unanswered.
If you leave an answer phone message we will get back to you in due course. Or ideally, email us, as these are sometimes being handled outside of working hours.
So can I place an order?
Yes you can!
Your new order should be delivered on the date shown on this website.
However, if our carriers (Parcelforce) are forced to stop delivering during this period, your order will be delivered as soon as possible after that decision is reversed.
Will things change?
Possibly... no one can accurately predict the future, even on a day-to-day basis right now.
If we are ordered to stop working and/or stop all travel we will cease to make our signs.
Orders and enquiries will continue to be addressed via home working, but we will be unable to provide a delivery date as our workshop will be closed.
